Privacy Policy

mpwav Inc. (the Company) complies with the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea and related laws, and establishes and discloses this Privacy Policy to protect the personal information of its users.
This policy applies to the website clearsenseaudio.com (the Site), operated by the Company. Processing of personal information within the ClearSense Audio app is governed by the app privacy disclosures published on each app store.
1. Personal information collected and how it is collected
The Site has no sign-up or login function and does not collect personal information through input forms. The Company collects the following:
- Automatically collected: cookies, IP address, browser and device information, operating system, date and time of access, pages viewed, and referral source — generated and collected automatically as you use the Site.
- Provided directly by the user: when you contact us by email, your email address, the content of your inquiry, and any information you choose to include.
2. Purposes of processing
- Statistical analysis of Site usage and improvement of services and content
- Receiving and responding to inquiries
- Preventing misuse, maintaining security, and providing a stable service
3. Retention and use periods
The Company destroys personal information without delay once the purpose of processing has been achieved, except where a retention period is prescribed by law.
- Website analytics data (Google Analytics): up to 14 months from collection, after which it is deleted automatically.
- Email inquiry records: destroyed within 3 years of the inquiry being resolved.
- Access logs: for the period necessary for service provision and security.
4. Provision to third parties
The Company does not provide the personal information of users to third parties, except where specifically required by law or where an investigative authority makes a request in accordance with legally prescribed procedures.
5. Outsourcing of processing and cross-border transfer
The Company outsources the processing of personal information as follows, and such information is transferred outside the Republic of Korea. Transfer occurs at the time you access the Site, by transmission over the information and communications network.
You may refuse the cross-border transfer by blocking cookies as described in section 7, or by discontinuing use of the Site.

6. Destruction of personal information
- Procedure: personal information whose retention period has expired or whose purpose has been achieved is destroyed in accordance with internal policy and applicable law.
- Method: electronic files are deleted by technical means that make recovery impossible; printed material is shredded or incinerated.
7. Cookies and other automatic collection tools, and how to refuse them
The Company uses cookies to analyse how the Site is used. A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser.
The Company uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics tool provided by Google LLC. It sets cookies (for example, _ga and cookies beginning with _ga_) to distinguish visitors and maintain sessions; the information collected is used only for statistical analysis. Cookies set by Cloudflare may also be used for site security and stable delivery.
You may refuse cookies. If you do, some features of the Site may not work as intended.
- Refuse via browser settings: Chrome — Settings, Privacy and security, Third-party cookies; Edge — Settings, Cookies and site permissions; Safari — Settings, Privacy.
- Opt out of Google Analytics: install the browser add-on provided by Google at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
8. Rights of data subjects and how to exercise them
You may at any time request access to, correction of, deletion of, or suspension of processing of your personal information. Requests may be made in writing or by email to the contact below, and the Company will act without delay.
Rights may also be exercised through a legal representative or an authorised agent. In that case, documentation evidencing the authorisation must be submitted.
The Company does not collect personal information from children under the age of 14.
9. Security measures
- Administrative: establishment and implementation of an internal management plan; minimising and training staff who handle personal information
- Technical: access control, retention of access records, encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS)
- Physical: access control to locations where records are stored

12. Changes to this policy
Any addition, deletion, or amendment to this policy will be announced on the Site at least 7 days before it takes effect. Where a change materially affects user rights, it will be announced at least 30 days in advance.
